About the Crawfish and Shrimp Boil

Every year, the high school student ministry at Holy Cross Lake Mary goes on a summer mission trip around the southeastern US. We partner with local organizations to perform home repair for people who are physically or financially unable to do it themselves. This mission trip has consistently proved to be a life-changing experience for many students. Through this week-long mission trip, students are given the opportunity to both share and receive the love of Christ.

Mission trips can get expensive. We find that there are many students each year who want to participate but find themselves unable to take part unless they receive financial aid. In response to this need, we created the annual Crawfish and Shrimp Boil. The proceeds from this combination dinner and silent/live auction help make it financially possible for any student to participate in our mission trip.
