How to Stay Connected Until You’re Ready to Come Back

We know it’s hard to feel connected sometimes with everything that is going on. We are working hard here at Holy Cross to keep our church family thriving as much as possible while still being responsible with our decisions about the health of our congregation and the community. Here are some ways to stay plugged in to HCLM:

– Devotions on YouTube and Facebook- intended for our student ministry, but helpful for everyone.
– Prepare for Sunday Services – contemporary worship songs, scripture readings, and questions for deeper thinking posted throughout the week on Facebook and Instagram
– Monday Night Bible Study @ 5:30pm on YouTube and Facebook- A walk through the book of Psalms with Pastor Matt and Pastor Chris 
– Drive Through Communion – the fourth Sunday of each month from 11:30am -12:00 pm
– Praying for You – We have always believed in the power of prayer. If there is something weighing on your mind or want to submit a prayer, let us know through our prayer request form or e-mail prayer@hclm.org.
– Online or In Person Services – Sunday at 8:00am for traditional service or 10:00am for contemporary
– Holy Cross Lake Mary Podcast – Check out and subscribe to our new podcast on iTunes or Spotify. You can also simply ask Alexa to “play the Holy Cross Lake Mary Podcast”

Education Hour 

Each Sunday, we will be having Sunday School in the Children’s Center, Middle/High School Student Service in the Youth Center, and the Sunday Morning Bible Study in the Community Center during our new Education Hour between services from 9:00-10:00am. Hope to see you there!

Tithes & Offerings

We give because we recognize that God has blessed us immensely and so we honor Him by giving back to Him out of our tithes and offerings. You can give online at hclm.org/give or mail to church address at 780 N Sun Drive, Lake Mary, FL 32746.

Sunday Morning Seating Arrangements

You will notice that more seats have returned in the church. We ask that members of households to sit together while remaining socially distant from other households with 2-3 seats between families. Thanks for keeping others safe.

Apr 25 – Mites Box Sunday

Bring your change to turn in at the Mites Box during offering to support the missions of LWML

Apr 25 – Drive Through Communion

Until everyone is comfortable with meeting again, we will offer Drive Through Communion each month. We look forward to seeing those who haven’t been ready to return to services.

Apr 25 – Middle School Youth Group

Middle School Youth Group is an engaging night filled with games, dinner, and devotion. It is open to any student in 6-8 grade so feel free to have your child bring a friend with them.

Apr 26 – Monday Night Online Bible Study Resumes

Join Pastor Matt and Pastor Chris Monday nights at 5:30 on Facebook and YouTube as they continue to walk through the Psalms

Apr 27 – High School Mission Trip Meeting

Anyone interested in attending the high school mission trip this summer should join us Tuesday, April 27 at 6:30pm in the youth room. This will be a quick information meeting full of updates and planning.

May 16 – Graduate Sunday

HCLM is proud of all of the graduates in our congregation and would like to recognize their hard work during services on May 16.

May 16 – Confirmation Sunday

Our second year confirmation students will be confirmed during the 10am service. Please join us to welcome them officially to the church and congratulate them for all of their hard work over the past two years.

May 16 – Voters Meeting

There is an upcoming Voter’s Meeting at 3pm in the Worship Center on May 16th

2021 VBS Registration Now Open

Holy Cross 2021 VBS is coming! We are currently planning on doing TWO WEEKS of VBS from June 7-11 and June 14-18. Registration is now open. Visit HCLM.org/VBS for full details.

Jul 19-23 – High School Mission Trip

Our high schoolers will be heading to The Lake Yale Baptist Conference Center in Leesburg from July 19-23 for their annual mission trip. The trip is open to those going into 9-12 grade for the 2021/2022 school year. This trip will be a great way for students to serve God and the community while growing closer to each other through fun activities and devotions. L-Team News and Calendar

If your are interested in starting an L-Team or your existing L-Team has resumed, please reach out to the office or one of the pastors.

This Sunday (Apr 25) the Disc Golf Team will be headed out to Debary City River Park at 4pm. All are welcome, no experience necessary. Contact Cary Hays for more information.

LCS is looking for a part-time front desk receptionist. The job will consist of answering phones, scheduling and checking on clients.
