Thrivent Action Teams
Thrivent Action Teams make it easy to live generously on your Wise With Money Journey. It starts with a simple question: “Who can I help and how?” Next, identify a community need and grab friends and family to form a volunteer team and brainstorm ways to address it. Thrivent provides promotional resources and seed money to jump-start your fundraiser, educational event or service project. Your team provides the people power to bring it to life.
Women Build Fundraiser
Many women from our congregation have joined with others in the area to form the Dream Builders; one group working with the Women Build project of Habitat for Humanity Seminole County. The team will work with other local women to build two houses 80% by women for two single mothers – one in Casselberry and one in Apopka. Please take a clothespin and make a donation matching the amount on the pin by writing a check to Habitat for Humanity. If you prefer to donate online in any amount please visit https://secure.qgiv.com/event/team/828025/ .
