Sermon Series: Greatest Comebacks

Psalm 89:1-4, 1 Peter 5:6-11, John 21:9-19

Great Comebacks

At times we feel that God has abandoned us, in fact, He never does. Join us for our new sermon series, Greatest Comebacks as we look at several famous people from the Bible who felt abandoned but God brought them back. We will focus this week on Peter. See you there at 8am, 9:30, 11am or Monday night at 6:30pm!

Announcements & Updates

Sunday School Volunteer Wanted

Little is more rewarding than having an impact on a child’s life and helping them get to know Jesus. We are looking for adult or high school volunteers to help with just that. Sunday School teachers are needed in all age levels during the 9:30 service. If you have a heart for kids and can commit to at least two Sundays a month September-May, we would love to hear from you. Training and all supplies are provided, no experience necessary. Please contact Pastor Chris at for more information.

Student Confirmation – August 22nd

Confirmation is starting up Wednesday, August 22! We invite your 7th grade and 8th students to join us for our 2018-2019 Confirmation. Our confirmation program is a small group based interactive experience that gives students the opportunity to explore and confirm their faith in Jesus Christ. We meet weekly on Wednesday nights 6:30-8:00 through the school year (with a few breaks during the holiday season). It’s a two-year experience in which students will learn about their faith, become familiar with the Bible, with prayer and will develop a personal testimony. In addition to the weekly meetings there are three retreats spaced through the school year where our students can grow in community with one another and dive a little deeper into the material we’ll be covering on Wednesdays. There is a one-time registration fee for the year of $100. Online registration is available at If you have further questions about our confirmation program or schedule of the year, please contact Daniel Robison at
