Sermon Series – Carols for a King
Join us this Advent and Christmas season as we look at the coming of the King through the eyes of classic Christmas Carols and Hymns! The lyrics in these songs are tied closely to the words of Scripture. We will see what those words have to say to us about Jesus and His incarnation as we also get to enjoy some great music of the Season.

If you are age 70½ or older, consider making a donation from your IRA using a qualified charitable distribution, which is not taxable and could satisfy some or all of your annual required minimum distribution. It’s important to note that if you make a qualified charitable distribution from your IRA, the custodian of your account may not identify it on your 1099-R form. It is your responsibility to inform your tax preparer of the transaction in order to secure the tax benefits. To discuss gift planning options, contact Dennis McGavock at the church office.
When planning for this year’s end of year giving, keep in mind the new tax law changes. Some people are including their 2019 giving in 2018 in order to get past the tax deduction limits. Whatever your strategy for giving is, make sure you follow through before the end of the year.
