Upcoming Sermon Series
Get ready for our next big sermon event, Seasons! From young to old, having children to empty nesters, changes in jobs and careers, good times and bad, our lives are full of different seasons. As we move through life we move from one season to another. Likewise, our relationship with God goes through different seasons. Just as God moved his people from Egypt to the promised land, from Kingdom to exile, from Old Testament to New Testament, and from the early church to the church as we know it today, God uses seasons and rhythms in our lives as we walk with him. This year at Holy Cross we will be exploring those seasons. Each sermon series we encounter throughout the year will help us understand the rhythm of life with God and the Church. From stories about Jesus to teachings about how we navigate through life, we will delve into the seasons of life. Join us as we embark on this journey together!

Charitable Giving
If you are age 70½ or older, consider making a donation from your IRA using a qualified charitable distribution, which is not taxable and could satisfy some or all of your annual required minimum distribution. It’s important to note that if you make a qualified charitable distribution from your IRA, the custodian of your account may not identify it on your 1099-R form. It is your responsibility to inform your tax preparer of the transaction in order to secure the tax benefits. To discuss gift planning options, contact Dennis McGavock at the church office.

We share a light meal together and spend some time getting to know one another, learning who we are as a church and what we believe, and discovering your gifts and how you can put them in a practice.
