The last two meetings for the Martin Luther’s Bible study will meet on December 10th and 17th in the Fellowship Hall at 9:30am.

“The Story” – Week 4

We are embarking on a journey of reading through God’s Word in the Book “The Story”.  The Bible Study will meet Tuesday night at 6:30pm.

Poinsettias for Christmas

If you would like to have a poinsettia placed on the altar in memory of a loved one or in honor of a loved one or event, please fill out the envelopes provided for you in the narthex. Each poinsettia is $7.00.

First Sunday of the Month Cook-out – Dec. 3rd

We will have the first Sunday of the month cook-out after the 11:00am service in the Courtyard. Come fellowship with your church family!

Blood Drive: December 3rd

“One Blood” will have their bloodmobile this Sunday, December 3rd parked in the front from 8:00am – 1:00pm.

Holiday Happening – December 5th

The “Divine Dollies” will gather on Tuesday, December 5th, 11:30 a.m., in the Fellowship Hall for a covered dish HOLIDAY HAPPENING! Along with your appetite, just bring a food item to share and a donation for “Pet Rescue by Judy.” Needs include nail clippers for kittens, canned puppy food, premium kitten food, toys for cats & dogs, Martingale dog collars.

Second Tuesday Lunch Bunch – Dec. 12th

Join the ladies on December 12th at Cracker Barrel in Sanford, 11:30am for lunch. Call Grace Chewning (407-322-8634) to make reservations.

High Tea – December 13th

You are invited to the 3rd Annual Christmas Tea, hosted by LWML to be held on Wednesday, December 13th at 6pm. We will be serving a High Tea, with scones, finger sandwiches and a sweet. Please bring your favorite teacup and dessert plate to use and a wrapped ornament for the gift exchange. A $5 donation is requested to cover costs. RSVP by December 10th to ssshyrock@yahoo.com with the number in your party attending to reserve your spot. Ladies of all ages are welcome.

Real Men of Jesus – December 14th

Calling all men, high school and up, who seek a deeper community connection with other men. Come join us on December 14th at 6:30pm in the Fellowship Hall.

Christmas Angel Trees

The Wednesday Morning Bible Study, Ladies Lunch Bunch, Divine Dollies and Bunco L-Teams have joined forces to place two Christmas trees in the narthex with tags of children’s names and ages from the Boys and Girls Club West Sanford and the Sharing Center. Please return designated tag with the unwrapped gift by Thursday, December 14th.

Parents Night Out – December 8th

Need time for a date or holiday shopping? You’re in luck! Friday, December 8th, Holy Cross Student Ministry will be hosting Parents Night Out! From 5:30p-8:30p, the kids will have cheese pizza dinner, watch a movie, play games, and do crafts all for $15 per kid! Potty Trained Pre-School-5th graders are welcome. Teacher Needed

Holy Cross Lutheran Academy is in search of a 4th grade Language Arts and Social Studies teacher to start in December through the rest of the school year.  We are looking for a Christ centered individual who holds or can easily qualify for their Florida Teacher’s certificate.  If you are interested or know someone please send an email to the Elementary Principal Mr. Sinninger at rsinninger@thehcla.org.

Seminole Leagues Youth Basketball

Holy Cross Upper Campus is excited to host another winter basketball program! Whether your K4-5th grade student is a beginner, intermediate, or skilled player, Seminole Leagues is for you! The cost for the 8 week season is only $100 (includes uniform). Please don’t delay in signing up evaluations will be done on December 9th and the 16th. We will start the season on January 13th.
