Soup, Sandwiches and Lenten Bible Study
Come enjoy Wednesday evenings during the Lenten Season (February 21 thru March 21) starting 6:00pm in the Community Center for soup and sandwiches. LWML makes the soup and you bring sandwiches to share. Bible Study on “How We Got the Bible” follows for about an hour.
Early Communion Class – February 20th
The class is for 4th-5th grade children, which in their parent’s estimation, are mature and ready to receive the Lord’s Supper. The class starts on Tuesday, February 20th from 6:30pm-8:00pm, then will run each week on Wednesdays through March 28th. After the 6-week class, the students are invited to partake in their first communion at the Maundy Thursday service, March 29th at 7:00pm. Register online at hclm.org/communion.
Faith & Family Night – March 2nd
Join your Holy Cross family for Faith & Family Night with the Orlando Magic as they take on the Detroit Pistons on March 2, 2018 at the Amway Center! Purchase tickets at our group rate and come to an exclusive pre-game tailgate reception at 1010 West Church Street (home of TheCross Orlando starting at 5:30PM) game time 7:00PM. First Sunday of the Month Cook-out – March 4th
We will have the first Sunday of the month cookout after the 11:00am service on March 4th in the Courtyard. Come fellowship!
Family Serve Assisting With Parking – March 3rd
Holy Cross Lake Mary and Holy Cross Academy have teamed up with the Lake Mary Heathrow Arts Festival for a great Family Serve Opportunity. We will be assisting with parking on Saturday, March 3rd. It’s the perfect opportunity to serve for a few hours and then walk around to enjoy the arts with your family. This event is recommended for 7 and up. The Sharing Center – “The Shelves Are Bare”
The Sharing center has a great need for soup at this time of the year. They not only support families in need but also the homeless. Watch for BOGO ads for your favorite grocery store. Again thank you for your support.
“Sing A New Song” – February 24th
The 5th Annual Hymn Festival “Sing A New Song” featuring composer and organist David Ludwig will be held at Lutheran Church of the Redeemer (2525 S. Oak Ave. Sanford, FL) on February 24th at 4:00pm. Volunteers Needed
Easter is fast approaching. We are hosting the Easter Experience for children on Sunday, March 25th from 9:30am to 10:50am. In order to make this event a success we need lots of willing volunteers to partner with us. Please stop by the booth in front of the Worship Center on Sunday, February 25th sign up. There is a new designed tee shirt that will be given to all that help. Thank you in advance for your help.
Kids Easter Experience – March 25th
Join us Palm Sunday starting at 9:00am for an Easter Experience like no other! Kids age 4 – grade 5 are invited to join us for 2 hours of walking through the Easter Story with hands on activities that are sure to get them excited about their faith! Volunteer Opportunity – February 23rd
Community Food Distribution – We are partnering with Child Abuse Prevention Task Force (CAPTF) to distribute free food to the community on Friday, February 23rd. Second Harvest Food Bank will provide a truckload of 40,000 plus pounds of food and will take place at St. Augustine’s Church in Casselberry. Seminole Leagues Soccer
Seminole Leagues Soccer is now registering for our next season (April). We are a family-friendly environment with one practice and game per week at the HCLA upper campus. Players in PreK (4) through the 5th grade are invited to play. Seminoleleagues.com for more information and to register.

Holy Cross Lake Mary is rolling out a new online pictorial directory. Our first “Picture Day” is March 4th before and after all services in the church office. Everyone will take an individual photo, your login for the new directory and a free gift while supplies last. More photo dates to follow.
