Confirmation Class for 7th and 8th graders
We would like to invite your 7th/8th grade child to join us for our 2015-2016 Confirmation Class. Confirmation is an opportunity for students to confirm their faith in Jesus Christ and lay a foundation which they can build upon for a lifetime. The program is small-group based and is designed to be fun and engaging. The class meets weekly on Wednesday nights. Over the course of the year, students will learn about their faith, become familiar with the Bible, be encouraged in their prayer life and develop a personal testimony. In addition to the weekly meetings, there are two weekend retreats. A fun 3 day retreat held in September where the students will “walk through the Bible” and a 2-day retreat held in early May. There is a one-time registration fee of $150.00.
A Message from Holy Cross Lutheran Academy
Dear Community Supporter –
In just a little over a week we will start our first year of High School at Holy Cross Lutheran Academy. HCLA is unique in this immediate area as a Christian school serving Preschool through 12th grade. We are ready to embark on this journey and fulfill the great commission to Build His Kingdom Here in Northwest Seminole County. Please pray for our administration, teachers, students and families that will be reached through this mission. Together, along with local churches and families, we can make a difference in this community.
Blessings on your day!
A few weeks ago Pastor Chris talked about miracles in the Bible. We are all familiar with some of the big ones: Jesus walking on water, the parting of the Red Sea, feeding the 5000 and Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead. We are putting together a pamphlet of miracles happening today. Please email us a miracle that you have witnessed we would like to share it with the congregation as well as on our website. Send your miracles to: Loriluedtke@gmail.com I think you’ll be surprised to read all the miracles that are happening right here in our congregation.
