This week we continue the Sermon Series for Advent, Favored. This week Pastor Chris will look at the genealogy of Jesus Christ. Many times, the genealogy in Matthew 1 is overlooked, but this week we discuss why it’s critically important to understanding who Jesus was. Through this lineage we discover how God truly does amazing things through ordinary people!

Christmas Eve Ushers
We are in need for ushers to help with Christmas Eve services. This is a hugely important service opportunity. Ushers help keep the worship service running smoothly by guiding people through communion, collecting the offering, lighting of candles, and other functions. A friendly and welcoming usher can be a determining factor in the Christmas experience for our guests, visitors, and members. If interested and available, please contact Sue Moffitt in the church office or email email@example.com.
Do you have some Tim the Toolman Taylor in You?
If you signed up for volunteer hours with Plant and Build, here is a great way you can get started by working around the Lake Mary Campus. Please contact Dan at firstname.lastname@example.org to find out our needs and his schedule.
