Lilies for Easter
If you would like to have a lily placed on the altar in memory of a loved one or in honor of a loved one or event please fill out the envelopes provided for you in the narthex. Each lily is $6.50.
Volunteers needed for Eggstravaganza
Join us on March 20th, 9:30 to 11AM, for Eggstravaganza located in the Fellowship Hall, parking lot and playground. This family friendly event is for children and adults of ALL ages. We will be dyeing eggs, playing games and making all kinds of Easter art. There will be snacks for all participants. This is a free event for church families and all residents of Lake Mary/Sanford. If you can help with set up, art tables or clean up, food donations or hard boiled eggs please email firstname.lastname@example.org.

HCLA Preschool Open House – Today Noon to 1PM
Visit our fantastic preschool on our Lake Mary Campus. Invite your friends that need a preschool home or just stop in to see the facility.
Lenten Soup & Sandwich Suppers
Our annual soup suppers will be hosted again this year during the season of Lent. The LWML ladies will provide the soup. You are asked to bring sandwiches to share. We will continue to host the soup suppers on Wednesday evenings at 6pm with devotions/Bible Studies beginning at 6:30pm (the last Wednesday will be 3/16/16). All are welcome to come.
After the Sermon Lunch Bunch
The After the Sermon Lunch Bunch will be going to Jason’s Deli in Lake Mary on February 28th. Please join us at 12:00 p.m. for food and fellowship. You can meet us there or call Lisa Mangus at 407-322-6890.
Family Serve – Road Clean Up
We have our next family serve on Saturday, March 5th at 9:00am. We will meet at StarChild Academy on Longwood/Lake Mary Road and clean up our adopted road. If we get enough volunteers we can get this done pretty fast! Please bring a trash “grabber” (we have a few) and some gloves. Family Serve – Grace ‘n Grits March 23 5pm – 7pm
Each church takes a turn preparing and serving a variety of hot meals, and local supermarkets donate baked goods and bread which can be taken home. Sign up on the website if you and your family would like to join us in serving our neighbors.
The Basketball “L” Team
is back on the court on the 1st & 3rd Thursday’s of each month from 7:30-9:00pm. This Adult Open Gym takes place at the Holy Cross Upper School Campus at 100 Aero Lane in Sanford. The cost is just $1 and helps to support the school athletic program. Invite your friends for some fellowship, exercise and friendly indoor basketball. Will you help fill the pantry?
The Sharing Center is in need of the following items: Diapers (sizes 4-6), Wet Wipes, Baby Wipes, Non Powdered Gloves (Large or XL), Paper Towels, Toilet Paper, and Detergent. If you want to get in the Easter spirit they are also requesting Easter Egg Dye Kits. We will be collecting these items for the month of March.
Cat in the Hat
Sally and Conrad are two bored kids whose life is turned up-side-down when a talking cat comes to visit them. Watch the adventures they have in the movie Cat in the Hat on March 2nd, 1:45PM in the Worship Center. All children are invited and they can bring their parents too!
Extra Curricular activities at Lake Mary
Holy Cross Lutheran Academy in Lake Mary offers a variety of extra curricular activities that are available to school students and the community at large. These activities are for children 3 to 5 years old. The activities include: Soccer Shots – a soccer program designed for preschool students, Piano lessons for children ages 4 and up, Espanol with Mercedes – a Spanish class for children ages 3 to 5 years old.
