“SCHOOL’S OUT FOR SUMMER!!!

Throughout the month of July we will be collecting school supplies to donate to local children. Please pick up a list in the Narthex and do some fun back to school shopping for these students. Thanks as always for your support!

Caps of Love
“Caps of Love” is dedicated to helping the disabled. Recycling plastic caps raises money to buy wheelchairs for disabled children. Plastic caps are a different grade of plastic from the bottles and are valuable in bulk. Hard plastic caps from laundry detergents, beverages, shampoo, spray paint, cream cheese, peanut butter, medicines and so many others. Color is not an issue – save them all! Translucent type water bottle caps are especially valuable. There will be a container in the narthex, let’s fill it up!
Teachers Wanted
Holy Cross Lutheran Academy is in need of highly qualified teachers for a few different teaching positions for the upcoming school year. We are looking for energetic, Christian teachers that are looking for a place where they can use their God given gifts and talents and either hold or can easily obtain their Florida Teaching Certificate. We currently have openings in 1st and 2nd grade at the Lower School and 5th/6th grade science at the Upper School. If you are interested or know someone, please send your resume to Rob Sinninger at rsinninger@thehcla.org for the Lower School or Shirley Geiss at sgeiss@thehcla.org for the Upper School.
