Pray For Orlando

Holy Cross is deeply saddened about the tragic loss of life that occurred in Orlando on June 12. When heartbreaking events of this magnitude occur, Holy Cross members often want to know how they can make a difference. In addition to continuing to hold those affected by this tragedy in our prayers, other opportunities exist to support the victims, their families and their community during this difficult time.

Holy Cross is partnering with Thrivent Financial and other Lutheran congregations in Central Florida to provide assistance to those in need through the Thrivent Action Teams program. Thrivent members can help support those affected in Orlando by forming a Thrivent Action Team supported by $250 seed money. For more information, visit Thrivent.com/actionteam.

If you are forming an action team to support the victims of the Orlando tragedy, let us know so we can help.

School’s out for Summer

Summer is a tough time for many families trying to keep food on the table. As we have done in the past, we will be collecting cereal for 1 more week to donate to the Sharing Center. Our  VBS campers did a great job in donating cereal.
