13th annual Crawfish & Shrimp Boil Sat, May 7th!
Make sure to mark your calendars for the opening day of ticket sales, Sunday, April 3rd. For this one day only, you can purchase your ticket for all-you-can eat crawfish and shrimp for only $15–after that the tickets will go up to $25. Students will be selling tickets out in the courtyard. The proceeds from this event help to offset the cost of our high school mission trip, where we will be doing home repair in North Carolina for those with physical and/or financial limitations. We’re blessed to have 40 people going this year, and without your support, many of these students would not be able to participate in this service opportunity.
Prayer and Healing Service
Here at Holy Cross, we believe that Jesus is alive and well among us through his Holy Spirit, and that a part of his continuing ministry is healing the sick and afflicted. We believe in a supernatural God who still does supernatural things every day. That’s why we’re having a healing service on Saturday, April 16th at 7:00 pm in the sanctuary. We’re coming together as a congregation to expect and pray for the healing power of Jesus to be present among us. Come join us!

Lutheran Womens Missionary League relies on the power of the Mite Boxes. Based on the Biblical account of the widow’s mite (Luke 21:1-4), the mite box is intended for regular contributions of “mites” – offerings above and beyond regular offerings. Funds support Gospel Outreach and Mission Grants. The Mite Box is located in the narthex for donations.
The King’s Tale
What makes Bagel King so special? We like to think it’s the way we treat our customers and smile with our service but our customers say it’s all in the bagels! Using our special “kettle-baked” process we dip our bagels and then bake them…this gives them their signature “crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside” taste and is what keeps our customers coming back for more! Join the Divine Dollies on April 5th at 11:30AM as they enjoy lunch at Bagel King located on Lake Mary Blvd. To make reservations please call Phyllis Crocker at 407-322-8101.
Second Tuesday Lunch Bunch
Hand battered entrees, made from scratch appetizers, quality food fresh from the kitchen sounds like we’re sitting in Mom’s kitchen. A short drive on Rinehart on Tuesday, April 12th, and you can join the ladies for lunch at Cheddars, meet them at 11:30AM. Make reservations by calling Laura Seelen 407-203-7291.
