Holy Cross would like to congratulate Carolyn Litwin on her retirement from the church office. She has served here at Holy Cross for many years and has been an integral part of all we do. We pray that God will continue to bless her in all that she does, and we look forward to continuing to see her in church, and as the good friend she has always been.

Soup, Sandwiches and Bible Study: Starts March 8th
These three words sum up Wednesday evenings during Lent, 6:00pm in the Fellowship Hall. LWML makes the soup and you bring sandwiches to share. Pastor Paul will have Lenten Bible Study on the book “Forgiveness: A Lenten Study”. Books will be available to purchase for $10.00.
Divine Dollies: March 7th

Second Tuesday Lunch Bunch: March 14th
They gather for fellowship and “fine” dining at local restaurants. On March 14th, 11:30AM, the Lunch Bunch is dining at Bahama Breeze. Call Laura Seelen at 407-203-7291 to make reservations.
Pastor Poker: March 6th
We play Texas Hold Em with a $5.00 buy in. At the end of the night the winner picks the charity that receives the winnings. You do not go home with the winnings, your buy in is a donation. We play at Pastor Paul Hoyer’s house and we start at 7:00pm. Bring your own beverage!

Nifty Knitters: March 8th Meeting

Holy Cross 101: April 6th
Pastor Matt is offering a onetime, new member class on Thursday, April 6th from 6-9PM. It will be a meet & greet with other new people, a Q & A with Pastor Matt and an introductions to our beliefs. It is a chance for you to learn more about Holy Cross and meet other people in a fun and friendly atmosphere. A light dinner will be provided. Collecting Items Now – Sharing Center: Vivi Italiano!
In March, we are continuing to collect pasta (any shape or size), parmesan cheese, canned (please no glass) pasta sauce and canned pasta products like Spaghetti O’s and Ravioli. There are lots of BOGO offers on these items that are needed for the Food Pantry at the Sharing Center. Drop your contributions off in the Narthex. Your contributions continue to bless those in need in our community.
Charity Poker Tournament – April 1st: CancerBank
You’re invited to play in the 6th annual Cancerbank Poker Tournament on Saturday, April 1st at the HCLA Upper Campus (100 Aero Lane Sanford). Kids Church Fellowship Time: March 25th

5th Graders Invite: March 26th

Youth Spring Soccer Sign-ups
Seminole Leagues, the community sports ministry of Holy Cross, is now registering for Spring Soccer, PreK4 through 5th Grade. We invite all kids of all levels to join our Spring 7 vs.7 league. Practice is just one evening a week and games are on Saturday Mornings and everything takes place at 100 Aero Lane in Sanford. We will have evaluations on both 3/8 from 3:45-5:30 and 3/11 from 2-4pm to balance the teams and games will start 4/1. Register today at www.SeminoleLeagues.com.
Summer Camp 2017 Information
It is official! HCLA has partnered with SportsTyme for camp this summer! ALL camps will be held at the Upper Campus, 100 Aero Lane, Sanford, FL. SportsTyme is committed to providing a safe, fun, and secure sports environment that leaves God in. Weekly day camps will be offered June 5th and run through Aug 4th. Camp hours are from 9:00am- 4pm with optional early arrival from 7:30am– 9:00 am and optional late stay from 4:00pm – 6:00pm. John Verba (91 yr old friend of Deborah Rolf) diagnosed with aggressive skin cancer, underwent chemo radiation; prayers for strength and healing
Teresa Verba (89 yr old friend of Deborah Rolf and John Verba’s wife) fell and broke her wrist, had surgery, in rehab; prayers for continued healing and recovery
Kevin Kittleson needs healing from cancer
Dennis Murtha (friend of the Hench Family) undergoing treatment to raise his platelet count; guide the doctors to find the best treatment
