Auction Items Needed

This year, we will be taking about 50 people on the High School Mission Trip to North Carolina. In order to do that we need to raise some money to offset the cost of the charter bus ($5,000) and the price of the trip for the students. Every year, we hold a crawfish boil as our one fundraiser to help with these costs. We are in serious need of new items for the silent auction. Do you own a business? Or are you part of a company that could help? Please contact Daniel Robison at daniel@hclm.org or feel free to drop your tax deductible item off at the church. Thanks for supporting our outreach mission and our youth!

We would like to personally congratulate you on your graduation from High School or College. We would like to formally recognize your accomplishment at Holy Cross at the 9:30am service on Sunday, May 22nd.  There will be a table in the narthex with a special gift for you. So make plans to attend Sunday Service and join your fellow graduates as we congratulate you on your achievement. As part of our celebration, we would like to add a quick description of your plans after graduation. Please send the information to the church office as well as if you will be in attendance by Monday, May 16th. You can e-mail Sue Moffitt with the information at smoffitt@hclm.org.

Are you my type?

Bloodmobile will be here May 8th, 8AM to 1PM. Sign up sheet in the office.

VBS Donations

The VBS team has requested that we start collecting paper towel rolls and toilet paper rolls for them to use for their projects. Please drop them off in the church office.

A light dinner will be provided.  If you plan on attending, please contact Pastor Matt at mwallis@hclm.org.

The food is always good.

The salad is always fresh and crispy never old and wilted. Everything seems to be home made nothing frozen here. The portions are a nice size. Prices are very reasonable. The staff is friendly and the place is clean. Want to join the Second Tuesday Lunch Bunch when they go to Patio Grill on May 10th at 11:30AM? Make reservations by calling Phyllis Crocker at 407-322-8101.

Hello, Beauty Full

Women struggle under the on going weight of “not-enoughness.” Not attractive enough. Not smart enough. Not fit enough. Not creative enough. And therefore, not beautiful.  In our eyes, we are unlovable and unusable. But in Scripture, God is clear that he sees us the way we already are in Christ: deeply loved and abundantly influential. Hello, Beauty Full explodes the shame-based mythology of our “not-enoughness,” empowering women to see ourselves as beautiful creations designed by God.  We will meet every Mon. for 8 weeks,  starting May 2nd from 10 am-11:30 in the Fellowship Hall. Each participant can purchase the study book for a cost of $12-$15.

Hands Around the World

Come enjoy Christian fellowship, devotionals, music and goodies at the Women’s Fellowship Tea Party on May 7th, 1-3PM. Faith Lutheran Church, Eustis, will be hosting. RSVP by April 29th to Ruth Heichelbeck 352-735-6655 2fllovebugs@gmail.com.
