200 Baskets for the Sharing Center
We are way behind in collection for the Sharing Center. Please pick up a list in the narthex and bring in the food items next week. If you’ve been too busy to shop we can do the shopping for you, a $40 donation will provide food for a family in our community to enjoy Thanksgiving Dinner in their home. Also, each family receives a Publix gift card valued at $10 to purchase a Turkey or Ham, your monetary donations will help us purchase these gift cards.

November Family Serve
We have our next family serve on Saturday, November 14th at 9:00am. We will meet at StarChild Academy on Longwood/Lake Mary Road and clean up our adopted road. If we get enough volunteers we can get this done pretty fast! Please bring a trash “grabber” (we have a few) and some gloves. Please join the ladies of Holy Cross as we host other ladies from other central Florida Lutheran churches at November 7th for our Fall Rally. Registration begins at 8:00 (fee $7) and the day includes a worship service and a luncheon. We are collecting soap for the Clean the World organization and our servant event will be making personal hygiene kits for the needy. Holy Cross Lutheran Academy Open House
HCLA is having an open house at our lower campus on Tuesday, Nov 10 from 1-5 pm. If you have an upcoming Kindergarten through 4th grader and are looking for a great Christian education, we invite you to attend. We will provide tours throughout the afternoon. Our school continues to grow, and so does our pride and the opportunities to share it! Holy Cross Lutheran Academy will be helping at the Heathrow Arts Festival on November 14th and 15th. We are in need of people to assist with parking on both days. If you or your family could assist for a 2-hour time slot, please go to theHCLA.org/Heathrow or contact the Upper School office at 407-936-3636 #3. Saturday we need help between 1:00 and 5:00 and Sunday we need help between 10:00 and 4:00. This is a great way to be in the community and help spread the word about HCLA.
