First Fruits Sunday
Join us this weekend for our next installment of “Plant & Build”
Today is a great day to celebrate! God has blessed us over the last 5 years as we have planted 4 churches and helped start several non-profits in our local communities. Because of the huge success we have had in the Plant and Build Capital Campaign, we are going to be able to further that work by planting more churches and continuing to impact the community. Thank you for your generosity! Celebrate with us today as we bring the First Fruits of our pledges and begin to fulfill the commitments we have made towards the work God has set before us.

Calling all dessert makers

The Wednesday Morning Bible Study, Ladies Lunch Bunch, Divine Dollies and Bunco L-Teams have joined forces to place three Christmas trees, each with 48 Angels and tags suggesting items to benefit the Russell Home for Atypical Children in Orlando; The Salvation Army’s“Forgotten Angels”; and Pet Rescue by Judy. Please bring the unwrapped items before Thursday, December 10th.
Christmas is right around the corner
The ladies of the LWML will be decorating the Worship Center and the Fellowship Hall and would like some volunteers to help. The trees and garland will come out on Nov 28th at 9AM.
Next Sunday is Mite Sunday
Where do your mites go? LWML has awarded a $120,000 grant to provide funding to renovate the buildings of Jonathan Ekong Memorial Seminary in Nigeria so they are safe and serviceable under the burden of larger student numbers. The buildings, built in the 1940s, are in need of resurfacing the floors and walls, replacing roofs and ceilings, replacing all electrical and plumbing installations, painting, and treating the termite problem.
HCLA Elementary School – Library Assistant
If you like books, kids and reading to kids, we have an opportunity for you! We are in need of a few library volunteers who would help students pick out books, read to them and some general library tasks. If you have time on Thursdays from 9:30-1:30 and would like to volunteer, have questions or would like to first visit, please contact Chris Jennison at firstname.lastname@example.org.
LWML is collecting laser cartridges, cell phones and pagers, digital cameras, tablets, scientific calculators for recycling to help fund their National Convention in 2019. Please drop them off in the purple container in the church office.
Transfer the Blessings: Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on redemption and the favor of God’s generosity. Learn ways to pass this incredible love on to your family.
