The Table in DeLand to add a traditional worship service
The Table is one of Holy Cross’ sister churches located on the south side of DeLand. They have been gathering for Sunday morning worship since February of this year. Beginning November 8th they will add a traditional worship service, featuring Lutheran liturgy, at 8:30am on Sundays. If you or someone you know lives in western Volusia county and prefers traditional worship, check out what’s going on at The Table. There will be a special “preview” of the traditional style worship service on October 25th at 10am, with every week traditional worship beginning November 8th at 8:30am. Find out more about The Table online at www.tcwv.org or on Facebook at Facebook.com/VolusiaChurch.
Holy Cross is once again hosting a “Trunk or Treat” on our Lake Mary Church Campus on Saturday, Oct 24 from 5-7pm. With bounce houses, an inflatable obstacle course and a dunk tank it is a can’t miss event for all ages. Come roast hot dogs over the fire pit, plan on visiting the ice cream truck too. Bring your friends to this free community event. We are asking for candy donations (individually wrapped), and volunteers. We need people to host Trunks for the 300 plus kids that parade around the campus. To volunteer, go to trunkrtreat.org or contact Pastor Chris Johnson, firstname.lastname@example.org.
