We Need Candy (Individually wrapped… LOTS)

Join us for Lake Mary’s biggest and best Trunk ‘R Treat, Oct 29th at 5pm, right here in the Holy Cross Parking Lot! We are bringing back the inflatable bounce house, inflatable obstacle course and a maze. We will have hot dogs to roast over the open fire pit and  LOTS OF CANDY!  So whether you are a little kid or a kid at heart, there is something for everyone. Kids can visit dozens of trunks in costume and safely collect candy.  To register your trunk or volunteer, go to trunkrtreat.org.

Ladies Book Club

Ladies Bible Study

I Got Bunco!

Take a spin of the dice at the Holy Cross Bunco luncheon. It’s BYOB (Bring Your Own Bag) lunch at 11:30 AM on Sept 27th. Dice down at noon. Prized White Elephants have been won and lost in seasons past. Prior experience not required.

Last Thursday Dinner Group

Nathaniel’s Steakhouse and Grill is the place to be on Sept 29th to have dinner with this group.  Nathaniel’s is located at 2485 South Park Ave, Sanford, 32771. RSVP to Joanne Hench (407-322-6004) by Sept 28th.

Royal Tea Room

Love this place, the food is great. The family that owns it are so funny, they are from London too so every thing is real English style. Which makes it even better. First Sunday of the Month Cookout

Oct 2nd the grills will be fired up and hamburgers/hot dogs will be ready after the 11:00 service. Our grill masters need help with the planning and preparation of this event. Please contact Helen Burns 407-302-4316 if you are able to help.

At 9:30AM Pastors Paul and Chris will  lead a Bible study on the Book of Acts in the Fellowship Hall. We would love to see students attend Sunday School and parents attend this Bible Study and worship together at 11:00am!

Help us provide a nice Thanksgiving Dinner for families in our community! This week we are collecting canned vegetables. Also, each family receives a Publix gift card valued at $15 to purchase a Turkey or Ham, your monetary donations will help us purchase these gift cards. No time to shop? Your $40 donation will pay for 1 family’s Thanksgiving dinner.

Are You Ready for Some Football?

Holy Cross runs Seminole Leagues, a sports ministry providing kids a safe and fun place to play sports.  We are now registering PreK4 through 5th grade for Flag Football.  Practices start the week of October 17th and are just one afternoon a week.  Games are on Saturday mornings and everything is at the Holy Cross Upper School Campus at 100 Aero Lane in Sanford.  Join us for our third season of Upward Flag Football for just $100.  Register today at www.SeminoleLeagues.com
