New Room Names

In an effort to make the campus more welcoming to our guests, we are changing the name of some of the rooms. The Fellowship Hall (downstairs) will be known as the Community Center; the Community Room (upstairs) will be known as the Children’s Center.

“Noah” Bible Study – January 7th

Pastor Paul will be leading a Bible Study entitled Noah – The Man, The Ark, The Flood. On Sundays beginning January 7th at 9:30am in the Community Center. Light Refreshments will be served.

First Sunday of the Month Cook-out – January 7th

We will have the first Sunday of the month cook-out after the 11:00am service in the Courtyard. Come fellowship with your church family!

“The Story” Resumes January 16th

We are embarking on a journey of reading through God’s Word in the Book “The Story”.  The Bible Study will resume on Tuesday, January 16th in the Community Center.

Holy Cross 101 – January 18th

Have you been coming to Holy Cross for a while and are ready for a next step?  Do you have questions about what we do and believe?  Then join us for our next Holy Cross 101!  HC101 is a new member class where we learn about who we are as a church, what we do and what we believe.  It is a one night class that meets from 6-9pm.  It is relaxed and fun, and we share a light meal together as we get to know one another.  There is no obligation if you attend, however if you are ready to take the next step of membership at Holy Cross, this class is for you.  Contact Pastor Matt for more information or to register at mwallis@hclm.org.

Installation of Pastor Adam – January 28th

Pastor Adam Barcott will be installed as a LCMS Pastor on Sunday, January 28th at Holy Cross Worship Center at 2:00pm.

Prayer Teams Monthly Meeting – January 7th

The Prayer Teams are meeting on Sunday, January 7th at 12:15pm in the Community Center for a meal, devotions, and prayers.

Second Tuesday Lunch Bunch – January 9th

Real Men of Jesus – January 11th

ALOA Meeting – January 14th

Women Build – Habitat for Humanity

Calling all Women Builders!  HCLM is forming a team of women to join with over 150 local women and help build a house that will become a home for a local family.  If you’re interested in getting involved, contact Betty Hoyer at bhoyer@thehcla.org or leave a message at 407.619.0528.  Build time runs from mid April through mid May.  All skill levels are welcome.

Concert with Jennie Williamson – January 26th

Come celebrate National Lutheran Schools Week and School Choice Week with FREE “God is Great” Live concert for all ages on Friday, January 26th at Holy Cross Lake Mary Worship Center from 6:30pm-7:30pm. Food will be available for purchase prior to the event starting at 5:00pm as well as a service project to benefit Safe House of Seminole.
