Current Sermon Series: What’s the Point
Psalm 150:1-6, Acts 20:27-38, Luke 1:67-75
What’s the Point?
We spent the last several weeks answering questions about God and our relationship with Him. We saw how we relate to God as individuals and as part of the Church as a whole. But what does that look like from day to day? Join us for our next series, What’s the Point as we look at what Scripture says about the lives of Christians and the life of the Church. What does God call on us to do? What does God promise to do for us? What’s the point of it all??? This week we continue to look at what is another main point of Christian life, PRAISE. See you there at 8am, 9:30, 11am or Monday night at 6:30pm!

Student Confirmation – August 22nd
Confirmation is starting up Wednesday, August 22! We invite your 7th grade and 8th students to join us for our 2018-2019 Confirmation. Our confirmation program is a small group based interactive experience that gives students the opportunity to explore and confirm their faith in Jesus Christ. We meet weekly on Wednesday nights 6:30-8:00 through the school year (with a few breaks during the holiday season). It’s a two-year experience in which students will learn about their faith, become familiar with the Bible, with prayer and will develop a personal testimony. In addition to the weekly meetings there are three retreats spaced through the school year where our students can grow in community with one another and dive a little deeper into the material we’ll be covering on Wednesdays. There is a one-time registration fee for the year of $100. Online registration is available at hclm.org/confirmation. If you have further questions about our confirmation program or schedule of the year, please contact Daniel Robison at daniel@hclm.org.
