New sermon series, seasons: welcome home! As we move into a new church season, we also move into a new season in our lives and in how we are dealing with the current pandemic. We welcome you home to in-person worship services at Holy Cross. The readings will be about the life of Christ and the ongoing life of the church as we relate them to our ongoing lives during this challenging season. Announcements & Updates
VBS 2020
We are excited to announce that VBS 2020 will be held July 20th-24th. There will be a virtual version in addition to a small in person version for those going into Kindergarten-5th grade for next school year. VBS registration will open at noon on June 14th. For volunteers, we will only be accepting those going into high school or beyond. For more information watch our Facebook page or HCLM.org/VBS. Crusader Preschool Camp Registration
Holy Cross Lake Mary Campus is holding the Crusader Preschool Camps for 3-6 years old Monday-Thursday from 8:30am-11:30am. Cost is $85.00 per week. Week One: June 22-25 “STEAM Week”. Week Two: July 13-16 “Water Week”. Week Three: July 27-30 “Art Week” Register now at thehcla.org/camps.
HCLA Summer Camps
HCLA has summer camps for Preschool to 12th grade. For information on dates and cost, and to register at thehcla.org/camps.
L-Team – Garden for God
A new L-Team is forming – Garden for God! This L-Team will be working on the gardens at Holy Cross. Individuals or families will choose one of the gardening areas, clean it out and/or add to it to beautify the property. Interested? Contact Chris Jennison – jenn3275@bellsouth.net and reserve your space. If you enjoy gardening or would like to work in a garden, this team is for you.
Sharing Center
We will be collecting protein foods for the Sharing Center. Peanut Butter, canned tuna, tuna pouches, potted meats, small hams and they always need canned fruit. Please take items to the Sharing Center Food Pantry, Mon.-Fri. 9AM to noon at 600 N US Hwy 17-92 Longwood, FL 32750.
