Current Sermon Series – Seasons: Death To Life

As we move into a new season of the church year we shift our focus from new beginnings to preparation for Easter.  Here we will deal with issues of sin and death in the world that transition into life and victory through the resurrection of Christ.  Come join us for this important season.

Nursery

Hey, did you know we offer a nursery during the 9:30am service?  We welcome children in church, but also know that some parents like time away from their children to be able to focus on worship. Nursery is located in the preschool area and is overseen by Carolyn Zacharias.  Stop in and say hello!

Announcements & Updates

Soup, Sandwiches and Lenten Bible Study

Come enjoy Wednesday evenings during the Lenten Season (March 4th thru April 1st) starting 6:00pm in the Community Center for soup and sandwiches. LWML makes the soup and you bring sandwiches to share. Lenten Bible Study follows the meal.

Lenten Bible Study

“Linchpin” by Thomas Zelt is a bible study to explore the importance and the reality of the resurrection of Jesus, to be used with the linchpin. This bible study started on Wednesday, March 4th at 6:30pm. Over the next four weeks, we are going to examine the very root of how God chose to reveal himself to us. The method of God’s revelation in Christianity is unique among world religions. He revealed himself by engaging in human events. In those events, he shows us what he is like, how he treats us, what he has done for us and what he promises to do.

VBS this year is June 8-12 and June 15-19 from 8:30am-Noon. For more information or any questions, email Lara Jackson at ljackson@hclm.org.
