Easter Lilies

If you would like to have a lily placed on the altar in the memory of a loved one or in honor of a loved one or event, please fill out information on provided envelopes in the Narthex. Each lily is $7.00.

Soup, Sandwiches and Lenten Bible Study

Come enjoy Wednesday evenings during the Lenten Season (February 21 thru March 21) starting 6:00pm in the Community Center for soup and sandwiches. LWML makes the soup and you bring sandwiches to share. Bible Study on “How We Got the Bible” follows for about an hour.

Picture Day!  – March 25th

Holy Cross Lake Mary has a new online pictorial directory. Our second “Picture Day” is March 25th before and after all services in the church office. Everyone will take an individual photo, your login for the new directory and a free gift while supplies last. More photo dates to follow.

Who’s Ready for VBS!

Adult (18+) volunteer registration will open on Sunday, March 11th at Registering as an adult volunteer will allow you to register your family for VBS before registration opens up to everyone else! Youth Volunteer Registration and Camper Registration open to the public on March 25th. Choose your week early to ensure your family gets a spot! Week 1: June 4-8 Week 2: June 11-15. Daylight Saving Time

Daylight savings time got you confused? Don’t worry we accept donations for the Sharing Center Monday through Thursday. One week left to collect donations for the Easter Baskets. The Holy Cross family continues to show love of Christ by helping those in our community.

Family Serve

Family Serve – Grace and Grits Wednesday, March 21st

Join us as we serve meals to those in Sanford that are in need. Families of all ages are available to come help. We will be cooking from 4p – 5:30p and serving starts at 5:45pm. Volunteers Needed

Easter is fast approaching.  We are hosting the Easter Experience for children on Sunday, March 25th, volunteers are needed from 8:30am to 10:50am.  In order to make this event a success we need lots of willing volunteers to partner with us.  Please stop by the booth in front of the Worship Center this Sunday to sign up.  There is a new designed tee shirt that will be given to all that help.  Thank you in advance for your help.

Kids Easter Experience – March 25th

Join us Palm Sunday starting at 9:30am for an Easter Experience like no other! Kids age 4 – grade 5 are invited to join us for 2 hours of walking through the Easter Story with hands on activities that are sure to get them excited about their faith! VBS Registration Opens – March 25th

VBS registration opens on March 25th. Cost per child is $25.00 which includes a CD per family. VBS Week 1: June 4-8 & VBS Week 2: June 11-15 (9:00am-12:00pm). This year’s theme “Shipwrecked: Rescued By Jesus”.

St. Luke’s Concert Series – March 18th

The Lutheran Cantata Choir and Chamber Ensemble will be performing “A Voice from Heaven” on Sunday, March 18th at 3:00pm St. Luke’s Lutheran Church (2021 SR426 Oviedo, FL 32765) free admission.

Seminole Leagues Soccer

Seminole Leagues Soccer is now registering for our next season (April). We are a family-friendly environment with one practice and game per week at the HCLA upper campus. Players in PreK (4) through the 5th grade are invited to play. for more information and to register.

Real Women of Jesus – April 6th

We are excited to announce Real Women of Jesus!!!  Our focus is incorporating the Fruits of the Spirit to our sisters in Christ. Our mission is to serve and model the love of Jesus (and have fun while doing it). Our first meeting, by divine intervention, will be partnering with Relay for Life for Robert and Carmine Bowes with a relay walk at the Sanford Zoo on Friday, April 6th. All ages are welcome.
