Easter Lilies

If you would like to have a lily placed on the altar in the memory of a loved one or in honor of a loved one or event, please fill out information on provided envelopes in the Narthex. Each lily is $7.00.

Soup, Sandwiches and Lenten Bible Study

Come enjoy Wednesday evenings during the Lenten Season (February 21 thru March 21) starting 6:00pm in the Community Center for soup and sandwiches. LWML makes the soup and you bring sandwiches to share. Bible Study on “How We Got the Bible” follows for about an hour.

Picture Day!

Holy Cross Lake Mary is rolling out a new online pictorial directory. Our first “Picture Day” is March 4th before and after all services in the church office. Everyone will take an individual photo, your login for the new directory and a free gift while supplies last. More photo dates to follow.

First Sunday of the Month Cook-out – March 4th

We will have the first Sunday of the month cookout after the 11:00am service on March 4th in the Courtyard. Come fellowship!

The Sharing Center –“What’s Your Favorite Flavor?”

In 1897, Jell-O became a trademarked gelatin dessert before that it was considered a dessert for the wealthy. Did you know that the first four flavors of Jell-O were Orange, Lemon, Strawberry & Raspberry?  Lime was introduced in 1930. The Sharing Center plans on having 300 Easter baskets for their clients’ prepared and ready to hand out on March 20th and March 27th. Help us fill those baskets.

Concert at Prince of Peace – March 10th

Valparaiso University Chorale, one of the top Lutheran collegiate choirs in the nation, will hold a free concert at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church (1515 S. Semoran Blvd, Orlando, FL 32807) on Saturday, March 10th at 6:00pm. For more information, visit or call (407) 277-3945.

Volunteers Needed

Easter is fast approaching.  We are hosting the Easter Experience for children on Sunday, March 25th. Volunteers are needed from 8:30am to 10:50am.  In order to make this event a success we need lots of willing volunteers to partner with us.  Please stop by the booth in front of the Worship Center this Sunday to sign up.  There is a new designed tee shirt that will be given to all that help.  Thank you in advance for your help.

Kids Easter Experience – March 25th

Join us Palm Sunday starting at 9:30am for an Easter Experience like no other! Kids age 4 – grade 5 are invited to join us for 2 hours of walking through the Easter Story with hands on activities that are sure to get them excited about their faith! Crafts, snacks, and an animal encounter await them at our 3rd Annual Easter Experience! For more info email Lisa Mangus at

St. Luke’s Concert Series – March 18th

The Lutheran Cantata Choir and Chamber Ensemble will be performing “A Voice from Heaven” on Sunday, March 18th at 3:00pm St. Luke’s Lutheran Church (2021 SR426 Oviedo, FL 32765) free admission.

“The Story” Bible Study – March 6th

We are embarking on a journey of reading through God’s Word in the Book “The Story”.  The Bible Study will meet in the Worship Center on Tuesday, March 6th.

Seminole Leagues Soccer

Seminole Leagues Soccer is now registering for our next season (April). We are a family-friendly environment with one practice and game per week at the HCLA upper campus. Players in PreK (4) through the 5th grade are invited to play. for more information and to register.

The Prayer Teams are meeting on Sunday, March 4th at 12:15pm in the Community Center for a meal, devotions, and prayers.

Real Men of Jesus – March 8 & Pinewood Derby

The 2018 World Championship of Lake Mary Cornhole Tournament is upon us! Bring your A-Game and join us March 8 at 6:30 in the Worship Center for good food and great fellowship. Please bring $5 to purchase a Pinewood Derby Car Kit for our races in April. Contact Chris Kutcher.

BUNCO for the Build!

Limited seating – space is filling fast – get your ticket today! Dream Builders, Holy Cross’ Women Build team, is hosting a ladies BUNCO night, Friday March 9th at Holy Cross Lake Mary Community Center (Fellowship Hall). In addition to playing, your $20 ticket includes: a drink ticket, awesome snacks and desserts homemade by the Dream Builders, and a raffle ticket for great prizes (plus another for every Bunco!). We pray today for our nation and our world. We ask that God would be with all of our leaders and elected officials; we pray that He would bring peace to the world, an end to violence and especially watch over Christians that are facing persecution.
