The Prayer Teams Gathering will be on Sunday, May 5th at 12:15pm in the Community Center. Team Leaders and members or anyone interested in being on a team are encouraged to join us to break bread together.

Wednesday Bible Study with Pastor Matt
Pastor Matt’s Wednesday Bible Study at 12:00pm will not be meeting on Wednesday, May 8th.
Second Sunday of the Month Cook-out – May 12th
We will have the second Sunday of the month cookout after the 11:00am service on May 12th in the Courtyard. Come fellowship!

Worship Team Meeting – May 22nd
Do you have a desire to serve? You are invited to attend a Worship Team Informational Meeting on May 22nd at 7:00pm in the Worship Center. We are currently looking for additional team members to run lights, ‘powerpoint’, sound, etc. (no previous experience required) – and if you’re musically gifted, your gifts are welcome as well! VBS Supply Donations

Crusader Preschool Camp Registration
Holy Cross Lake Mary Campus is holding the Crusader Preschool Camps for 3-6 years old Monday-Thursday from 9:00am-12:00noon. Cost is $85.00 per week. Week One: June 24-27 “Adventures Around the World”. Week Two: July 8-11 “Art Camp”. Week Three: July 15-18 “Water Week” Register at thehcla.org/camps.
Middle School Summer Adventure Days Registration
Middle School Summer Adventure Days Registration is Open! Adventure awaits for our youth who will be in 6th-8th grade for the 2019-2020 school year. Our first trip will be out to the beach at Ponce Inlet on July 10th and our second trip will be to the Little Wekiva River for canoeing on July 31st.

~Each day costs $25/youth
~Sandwich lunch on the trip and pizza dinner back at the church after we return are included.
Baby Bottle Campaign
Fill a bottle, save a life. The Pregnancy Center of Sanford exists to offer women alternatives. Help them raise awareness by supporting the baby bottle campaign for the month of May. There are baby bottles in the Narthex, take a bottle home, fill it up with coins or cash or a check and return it (even empties) to the church office by Friday, June 7th.
Financial Peace (FPU) – June 2nd

HCLA First High School Graduation – May 19th
Holy Cross Lutheran Academy is happy to announce their first ever High School Graduation Commencement. This accomplishment comes just before we celebrate our 20th year as a school. The support from our congregation has helped us get to this exciting time in the history of Holy Cross. May 19th at 7:00PM we will celebrate our first class here at Holy Cross Lake Mary. Come celebrate with us!

JOY (just older youth) is a social group for 50+ adults. Our next meeting is on May 16th at 6:30pm. Bring a “brown bag” supper and then enjoy game night in the HCLM Community Center. Book Club – May 20th
Join the Book Club on Monday, May 20th at 7:00pm in the upstairs classroom 3. Chris Jennison has arranged for a local author to come to the May Book Club Meeting. Choose any book by our guest author, Marcia Meara. She has written 6 novels: Wake-Robin Ridge, A Boy Named Rabbit, Harbinger, Swamp Ghosts, Finding Hunter, and The Darkest Place. Select any one of these books to read.
