We are pleased to announce that Ethan Spira has accepted the call to join us as the School Chaplain Holy Cross Lutheran Academy. There will be an installation service on August 5th at 2:00PM at Holy Cross Lake Mary with a reception and grocery shower for Ethan and Kim to follow. Holy Cross 101 – June 13th
Pastor Matt is offering a onetime new member class in the Community Center on Wednesday, June 13th from 6:00pm-9:00pm. It will be a meet & greet with other new people, a Q & A with Pastor Matt and an introductions to our beliefs. A light dinner will be provided. Middle School Summer Adventures Await!
Middle School Adventures don’t have to stop just because summer is here. Join us for First Wednesdays Summer Edition! Mite Box Sunday
LWML will be collecting for the Mite Box for missions. One of the many organizations that receive Mite monies is Bible Storybooks for Spanish-Speaking Families: Introduce children to the Savior’s love by translating and publishing 9,000 Spanish copies of “A Child’s Garden of Bible Stories” for Spanish-speaking mission churches in FL/GA and around the world.
VBS Registration
VBS Camper registration at HCLM.org/VBS. VBS week 1: June 4th-8th and week 2: June 11th-15th, both weeks are 9am-12pm daily. Campers must be going into VPK through 5th grade next year to register. Registration includes a music CD for each family. If you have any questions, please contact Lara Jackson at ljackson@hclm.org.
VBS Volunteers Needed!
Calling all Adults, High Schoolers, and Middle Schoolers with a servant’s heart. We are looking for volunteers who love kids, singing, dancing, and hands on fun to help us make this year’s VBS the best yet! Volunteer registration and attendance at a training is REQUIRED. Collecting Cereal – Sharing Center
Hello, Captain Crunch! We will be collecting cereal for the month of June for the Sharing Center. Our Shipwrecked VBS campers will partner with us to collect as many boxes of cereal that we can.
Red Letter Challenge – Week of Going
Red Letter Challenge is our current sermon series and church wide event for six weeks. It is designed for you to follow along with the 40 day challenge yourself while experiencing Messages about the experience on Sundays. You can pick up the book from the church or online at HCLM.org/RLC/ for a suggested donation of $15.
Smiling Faces Wanted!
