VBS Registration
VBS Camper registration is now open at HCLM.org/VBS. VBS week 1 will be June 4th-8th and week 2 will be June 11th-15th, both weeks are 9am-12pm daily. Campers must be going into VPK through 5th grade next year to register. Registration includes a music CD for each family. If you have any questions, please contact Lara Jackson at ljackson@hclm.org.
VBS Volunteers Needed!
Calling all Adults, High Schoolers, and Middle Schoolers with a servant’s heart. We are looking for volunteers who love kids, singing, dancing, and hands on fun to help us make this year’s VBS the best yet! Volunteer registration and attendance at a training is REQUIRED. Red Letter Challenge – Week Of Forgiving
Red Letter Challenge is our current sermon series and church wide event for six weeks. It is designed for you to follow along with the 40 day challenge yourself while experiencing Messages about the experience on Sundays. You can pick up the book from the church or online at HCLM.org/RLC/ for a suggested donation of $15.
Smiling Faces Wanted!
Do you love meeting new people and are looking for a low time commitment way to serve Holy Cross? We are looking for smiling faces to man the Welcome Center Cart between services. Talk to Pastor Matt or email Lara Jackson at ljackson@hclm.org for more information or sign up!
Crawfish Boil – May 12th
This event is the main fundraiser for our Student Ministries Summer Mission Trip to North Carolina. It is held at Holy Cross Community Center starting at 6:30pm. Tickets are $25.00; order online HCLM.org/Crawfish.
Baby Bottle Campaign
Fill a bottle, save a life. The Pregnancy Center of Sanford exists to offer women alternatives. Help them raise awareness by supporting the baby bottle campaign for the month of May. There are baby bottles in the Narthex, take a bottle home, fill it up with coins or cash or a check and return it (even empties) to the church office by Friday, June 1st.
The Cupboards Are Bare
To help the Sharing Center, we are collecting Soups, Stews, Tuna fish as well as other canned meats. Thanks for helping those in need.

2018 Graduates
We would like to personally congratulate you on your graduation from High School or College. We would like to recognize your accomplishment at Holy Cross on Sunday, May 20th. Real Women of Jesus – May 16th
Ladies 18 and up- Mark your calendars for our first official meeting Wednesday, May 16th at 7:00pm in the Community Center (Fellowship Hall)! We have some fun games planned and some activities to get to know one another. We will have an open discussion about this L-Team and the direction that God would have it go and plan our first outing. JOY – May 17th
JOY (just older youth) is a new social group for 50+ adults. Our next meeting is on May 17th at 6:30pm in the Community Center. If you are interested in Food, Fun, and Fellowship, come join us. For this meeting, bring a sandwich or light supper with you. We will have a game night with a variety of board and card games to enjoy.
Book Club – May 21st
Join the Book Club on Monday, May 21st at 7:00pm for discussion of “Small Great Things” by Jodi Picoult led by Karen von Lersner.
BUNCO – May 22nd
Come fellowship and have FUN on Tuesday, May 22nd at 11:30am with brown bag lunch, games start at noon upstairs in the Children Center. Prizes awarded for most BUNCO, most wins, most losses, and whatever with bagged white elephant items provided by the players.
