Revelation Bible Study
Join us as we continue to delve into one of the most interesting and misunderstood books in all the New Testament: Revelation. Is the Rapture real? Will there be Judgment for Christians? Who is the Antichrist? Join us every Tuesday evenings from 6:30pm to 8:00pm.
Prayer Teams Meeting – November 11th
The Prayer Teams will be meeting on Sunday, November 11th in the Community Center after the 11:00am service. Lunch will be served. We would like all Prayer Team members to participate.
Ushers and Communion Assistants
Are you looking for a way to serve and use your gifts in the church? We are looking for men and women to be Ushers and Communion Assistants! Mercy Me Concert – May 4, 2019
Mercy Me tickets are now on sale in the church office. The church has purchased 2 rows of tickets in section 111 for $30 a ticket including all fees and taxes. We only have a limited number of seats so get them soon. To purchase tickets either order them online through hclm.org/mercyme or stop in the office with cash or check. Lutheran Church Extension Fund (LCEF)
LCEF is launching a special promotion for its 40th birthday. The goal is to raise 100 million dollars to support the growing loan demand. This is a limited time offer. As soon as the needed 100 million goal is reached the offer will end. Look for flyer in the Narthex for details of this offer.
Seminole League
“Helping young athletes to grow in skills, character, and faith” is the goal of Seminole Leagues, an Upward Sports Program. The faith-based developmental sports league currently offering basketball in January. Sign up is now available! One practice a week and game each week at Holy Cross Lutheran Academy Upper Campus in Sanford.

Teen Challenge
Teen Challenge, where “putting hope within reach” is their motto. Help them do so by visiting their new car wash on Lake Mary Blvd two doors east of the Sunoco gas station. Prices are very reasonable. You can also call 407-330-9600 to receive help from them for landscaping, moving, event set-ups, facility cleaning, construction labor, and demolition work as you need them. They also offer Star Mobile detailing washes at your home or place of business and offer their Super Thrift store for your shopping. Donations are gratefully received to aid people who need a hand up, not a hand out. Thank you – Warren Jennison.
St. Luke’s Concert Series – November 17th
St. Luke’s Lutheran Church Concert Series has the UCF Symphony Orchestra on Saturday, November 17th at 7:00pm. Concerts are free and open to the public.

Book Club – November 26th
Join the Book Club on Monday, November 26th at 7:00pm (upstairs Classroom 3) for discussion of “Beneath a Scarlet Sky” by Mark Sullivan led by Betty Hoyer.
BUNCO – November 27th
Come fellowship and have FUN on Tuesday, November 27th at 11:30am with brown bag lunch, games start at noon in the Community Center. Prizes awarded for most BUNCO, most wins, most losses, and whatever with bagged white elephant items provided by the players.
JOY – November 30th
JOY (just older youth) is a social group for 50+ adults. In November we will attend the free Christmas program at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Oviedo on November 30th at 7:00pm. Due to the large attendance and varying times of arrival, we will not try to sit together. Please arrive early in order to get a seat. We’d love to have you join us to start the Holiday season with this beautiful musical celebration of our Savior’s birth. Christmas trees, lights, wreaths: We must be talking about decorating the Church for Christmas. Church Decorating will be held on Saturday, December 1st starts at 9:00am. See you there!

The “Divine Dollies” will gather on Tuesday, December 4th, 11:30 a.m., in the Community Center for a covered dish HOLIDAY HAPPENING! Along with your appetite, just bring a food item to share.
