“The Story” – Week 3 Meeting November 28th
We are embarking on a journey of reading through God’s Word in the Book “The Story” together. “The Story” is a version of the NIV Bible arranged so that it can read straight through as a chronological narrative. The Bible Study will not meet on Tuesday, November 21st but will start back on November 28th from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. See you then!

Need prayer or want to volunteer, but don’t know who to talk to? Did you know that Holy Cross has two easy to remember email addresses to help you out?
Prayer@hclm.org is set up for those times when you or someone you know is in need of prayer. You can send a quick email anytime to request prayer and it will be received by a Pastor or even can be sent to our prayer team to have a whole army of people praying for you by the end of the day.
Volunteer@hclm.org was set up for those times when you see need that our congregation may be able to fill or if you yourself want to volunteer with something going on in the church.
L Team News
Advent L-Team Kick-Off – November 29th
What a better way to get into the Christmas Spirit than to learn more about the Advent season while giving back to our community with friends old and new? Bring the family to join Pastor Matt, Wednesday, November 29th in the Community Room from 6:30-7:30 with this L-Team Kickoff as we learn what Advent really is. Then join us throughout December as we go Caroling in a local neighborhood, Bake Christmas treats, Help with decorating the church, Stuff stockings to bring with as we visit those in the nursing home, and more! Book Club – November 27th
Join the Book Club on Monday, November 27th at 7:00pm for discussion of “Life from Scratch” by Sasha Martin led by Kathy Sinninger.
BUNCO – November 28th
Come fellowship and have FUN on Tuesday, November 28th at 11:30am with brown bag lunch, games start at noon in the Fellowship Hall. Prizes awarded with bagged white elephant items provided by the players.
LWML – Bible Study – Wednesday, November 29th

Christmas trees, lights, wreaths: We must be talking about decorating the Worship Center and Fellowship Hall for Christmas. Church Decorating will be held on Saturday, December 2nd starts at 9:00am. See you there!
Parents Night Out – December 8th
Need time for a date or holiday shopping? You’re in luck! Friday, December 8th, Holy Cross Student Ministry will be hosting Parents Night Out! From 5:30pm-8:30pm, the kids will have cheese pizza dinner, watch a movie, play games, and do crafts all for $15 per kid! Potty Trained Pre-School-5th graders are welcome. Save the date! High Tea on December 13th
You are invited to the 3rd Annual Christmas Tea, hosted by LWML to be held on Wednesday, December 13th at 6pm. We will be serving a High Tea, with scones, finger sandwiches and a sweet. Please bring your favorite teacup and dessert plate to use and a wrapped ornament for the gift exchange. A $5 donation is requested to cover costs. RSVP by December 10th to reserve your spot. Ladies of all ages are welcome.

Teacher Needed
Holy Cross Lutheran Academy is in search of a 4th grade Language Arts and Social Studies teacher to start in December through the rest of the school year. We are looking for a Christ centered individual who holds or can easily qualify for their Florida Teacher’s certificate. Seminole Leagues Youth Basketball
Seminole Leagues Youth Basketball Program Registering Now
Makes a Great Christmas Gift Grandparents!!!
Holy Cross Upper Campus is excited to host another winter basketball program! Whether your K4-5th grade student is a beginner, intermediate, or skilled player, Seminole Leagues is for you! We evaluate each player individually to obtain skill levels for league parity. Our league utilizes the faith-based Upward Sports program. We are family friendly with one practice per week and all games are played on Saturday. This is especially convenient with the upcoming holiday season rapidly approaching. The cost for the 8 week season is only $100 (includes uniform). Please don’t delay in signing up because evaluations will be done on December 9th and the 16th.
