Join us for our current sermon series, Faith in Action.  Each week we will be looking at ways we can live out our faith and how we are already working with our community partners to make a difference!

Revelation Bible Study

Join us as we continue to delve into one of the most interesting and misunderstood books in all the New Testament: Revelation. Is the Rapture real?  Will there be Judgment for Christians?  Who is the Antichrist?  Join us every Tuesday evenings from 6:30pm to 8:00pm.

Reformation Sunday Oktoberfest  – October 28th

Join us at Holy Cross Academy Upper Campus (100 Aero Lane Sanford, FL 32771) on Sunday, October 28th from 1:30pm-3:30pm for an Oktoberfest style celebration of the Reformation. There will be fun and fellowship plus a bounce house and activities for the kids. We would welcome your side dishes and desserts. We will provide beer, brats, sauerkraut, and German potato salad. This family friendly event is one you won’t want to miss.

Thanksgiving Baskets

Turkey time is right around the corner and we need lots more donations to meet our goal!  The last items on the list are Cake Mixes and Canned Frosting.  We still need lots of Instant Mashed Potatoes & Gravy Packets, Stuffing Mix, Cranberries, Yams, and Canned Vegetables. We have about 30% of the donations needed; please look for BOGO’s and warehouse deals. This week we are collecting Canned Fruit and Jello/Pudding. Lutheran Church Extension Fund (LCEF)

LCEF is launching a special promotion for its 40th birthday.  The goal is to raise 100 million dollars to support the growing loan demand. This is a limited time offer. As soon as the needed 100 million goal is reached the offer will end. Look for flyer in the Narthex for details of this offer.

Basketball Season

Basketball Season is here and Sign up is now available! Thanksgiving Camp is now available for registration. November 17th 9:00am -12:00pm. Funds goes toward providing families meals to eat for Thanksgiving. –             (Basketball League)  – (Thanksgiving Camp)

Scholastic Book Fair – November 4th

Scholastic Book Fair is coming to the Holy Cross Lake Mary Campus, November 1st-7th. On Sunday, November 4th, the Book Fair will be open to the congregation for all three services. The books are geared towards preschool aged children. Clifford the Big Red Dog will be stopping by Kids Church Nursery and Preschool classes in the downstairs class rooms. Books can be purchased by check, cash, and credit card. Please stop by and pick up a book to support early learning in reading.
