New Sermon Series – Experience Jesus
Get ready for our new sermon series, Experience Jesus. We will spend the next 4 weeks exploring ways that we experience the presence and work of Christ in our lives. Each week we will be offering you real ways that you can experience the power of Jesus that ties into the message for the day. Join us this week, as we see how Jesus Sets Captives Free. Experience the power of forgiveness and deliverance from sin as we offer opportunities for individual Confession and Absolution and personal prayers for deliverance. See how the power of Jesus can change your life! This week at 8, 930 and 11.

Announcements & Updates
Trunk R Treat is Coming
One of our biggest outreach events of the year is coming in October. Every year, we strive to make Trunk R Treat a safe and free event for our community where we have the opportunity to meet many families who do not currently attend our church and we need your help. We are currently looking for planning committee help, day of volunteers, and carnival game prize donations. If you could please visit our Amazon Wish List (http://a.co/1dLo3nr) and order a game prize pack for the event it would be greatly appreciated. This will help offset the cost of this event that will reach around 1,500 people. We will be looking for candy donation in October. If you have questions or would like to help in any way, please contact Lara Jackson at ljackson@hclm.org.
Sunday School Volunteer Wanted
Little is more rewarding than having an impact on a child’s life and helping them get to know Jesus. We are looking for adult or high school volunteers to help with just that. Sunday School teachers are needed for 2nd-5th grade during the 9:30 service. If you have a heart for kids and can commit to at least two Sundays a month September-May, we would love to hear from you. Training and all supplies are provided, no experience necessary. Please contact Pastor Chris at chrisj@hclm.org for more information.
Holy Cross 101 – September 19th
Pastor Matt is offering a onetime new member class in the Community Center on Wednesday, September 19th from 6:00pm-9:00pm. It will be a meet & greet with other new people, a Q & A with Pastor Matt and an introductions to our beliefs. A light dinner will be provided. If you plan on attending, please contact Pastor Matt at mwallis@hclm.org.
Revelation Bible Study – September 18th
Get ready for our next Tuesday night bible study, Revelation! Join us as we delve into one of the most interesting and misunderstood books in all the New Testament. Is the Rapture real? Will there be Judgment for Christians? Who is the Antichrist? Join us on Tuesday evenings from 6:30pm to 8:00pm starting on September 18th. Details on books and materials coming soon.
Sharing Center
The Sharing Center is out of fruit. For the next couple of weeks, we will be collecting canned fruit and fruit cups, no glass containers please.
