Committed to Student Ministry

Here’s the thing, we want to be people who are committed to the youth. We like them. They remind us of the best and sometimes the worst of ourselves. Little kids are capable of simple wisdom or sincerity and they can grow into teenagers that inspire us to be better. Besides, we are part of a people that have been committed to youth for thousands of years. Some of our most ancient texts speak about teaching and raising kids, treasuring them as gifts. Our King himself, encouraged us to have the faith like children. It’s with this understanding that we incorporate the youth into the life of our church.

Holy Cross Lake Mary offers Youth, Children’s and Family Worship Experiences every Sunday Morning.

Middle School Student Ministry

Student Confirmation

We would like to invite your 7th/8th grade child to join us for our Confirmation Class. Confirmation is an opportunity for students to confirm their faith in Jesus Christ and lay a foundation which they can build upon for a lifetime. The program is small-group based and is designed to be fun and engaging. The class meets weekly on Wednesday nights during the school year.
Over the course of two years, students will learn about their faith, become familiar with the Bible, be encouraged in their prayer life and develop a personal testimony.

• NEW Bible study with Blake at the Holy Cross Lutheran Academy  from 3:00pm – 4:00pm on Wednesdays (100 Aero Lane Sanford FL)
