By Grace... Through Faith

Ephesians 2:8

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.

These words assure us that we belong to this family God has called us to – His family – His Church

We believe the Church is not limited to the pews in a building. The Church is a living, breathing organism made up of people from every walk of life.

Our mission:  Casting light to help those in the dark find their way in Christ

Casting light is to work with God to make her Church everything it is meant to be.

We know that as you take the time to pursue God, He will be faithful to do extraordinary things – immeasurably more than you can ask or imagine, according to His power.

Kids Church - PreK - 5th Grade

Kids Church at Holy Cross shares Bible truths in fun, memorable ways. Lessons are introduced in a large group setting through the use of puppets, skits and audience participation; followed by small groups, where children learn how to practice their faith at school… at home… in friendships. Relationships formed in small groups make Sunday school a warm, welcoming place week after week. With our worship experience, kids move beyond applying faith to actually living it out. Don’t miss Kids Church at 10am on Sundays located upstairs in the Childrens Center. Kids Church is for children 3 years old (potty trained) – 5th grade.

Youth - Middle & High School

Youth

Youth gather at Holy Cross in The Mean Bean cafe at 9am on Sunday mornings. It gives students an opportunity to grow with their peers as they are encouraged to ask the big questions about what it looks like to be a disciple of Jesus in our world today. Come and experience our awesome God with us!

Wednesdays our Youth meet at Holy Cross Lutheran Academy at 3PM for deeper converstaions (and fun)

L-Teams

Jesus formed a team of people around Himself, and we believe we should be on a team too! Discipleship and growth happens best in the context of relationships. L-Teams give us the opportunity to build those relationships as we form little pockets of community in our life.

Teams also follow an L3 approach. Live teams are fellowship oriented teams. Love teams are about serving. Learn teams focus on study and learning of the bible and other Christian based materials. But the best thing about Teams is that they are made by you. L-Teams are grassroots organizations, designed and created by the people that are in them. So if you don’t see a Team you are looking for, talk to Pastor Chris about starting one yourself!
