Committed to Student Ministry
Here’s the thing, we want to be people who are committed to the youth. We like them. They remind us of the best and sometimes the worst of ourselves. Little kids are capable of simple wisdom or sincerity and they can grow into teenagers that inspire us to be better. Besides, we are part of a people that have been committed to youth for thousands of years. Some of our most ancient texts speak about teaching and raising kids, treasuring them as gifts. Our King himself, encouraged us to have the faith like children. It’s with this understanding that we incorporate the youth into the life of our church.

Kids’ Church
Families will begin worship together, and after the first three songs, children will be dismissed to Kid’s Church in Studio B (the Youth Room). There, Youth Director Josh leads a fun and engaging lesson just for them.
You can pick up your children from Studio B at the end of the worship service. We can’t wait to see you there!
Family-Style Sunday School
Family Style Sunday School is for everyone! Join us during our Education Hour, from 9-10 a.m. in the Community Center, for a new approach to learning together.
This isn’t just for nuclear families; it’s about our entire church family coming together. We’ll be embodying the principles of Deuteronomy 6 and Titus 2, with older and younger generations learning from and serving each other. We will also explore what it means to care for our community and neighbors as we see in James 1:27, and how we are meant to live out our new life in Christ. It’s an opportunity for all of us to grow in faith together, just as God intended.
Middle School Youth Group
Wednesday nights are for middle schoolers! Come find community and grow in your faith with our youth ministry. We’ll be in Studio B from 6:30-8:00 PM for food, games, and fellowship, and we’ll be studying God’s Word together. It’s a great opportunity to connect and have fun.
Student Confirmation
Looking for a way for your 7th or 8th grader to deepen their faith? We invite them to join our Confirmation Class.
This program is a great opportunity for students to learn more about their faith and confirm their personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Designed to be fun and engaging, the class is built around small-group discussions and interactive activities.
Students will complete six different modules, which are offered twice a year. Your child can start at any time once they’re in 7th grade or older.
High School Student Ministry
Come hang out with other high schoolers for our weekly Bible study. We’ll be at Holy Cross Lutheran Academy (100 Aero Lane, Sanford) on Sundays at 5:00 p.m. with Josh. Let’s challenge each other to love God fully and figure out what that looks like in our lives.
